How to make the iWork suite a free download for current Mac owners that don't own. It will just be a DMG file so. I guess I'm stuck with iWork '08.

I think my problem was I had already downloaded and completed the 30 day trial four years ago. First, I downloaded the from Apple's website. Didn't seem to do much. I then deleted the /Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWork09.plist file and restarted Pages, which allows you to trick the app into giving you a fresh trial period. No luck there immediately either. But then, what do you know - an hour or two later, up pops the updates in the App Store!

I can't confirm obviously if the 9.3 update is necessary or not due to the delays I experienced, but no harm in trying. Hope that helps.
